Sphereless
Lose perspective soaring through the clouds. No planet, no anchor—just you, the sky, and an extra helping of disorientation.
Mode 03
Obscured
The far side of the sphere goes dark. You can only see half the planet at a time—so don’t let your tail sneak up on you around the corner.
Each mode has its own separate leaderboard—so master them all if you dare.

Touch
Swipe left or right anywhere on the screen to steer the snake.
Gamepad
Use the left analog stick to steer the snake smoothly.
Mouse
Move the mouse left or right—the snake instantly mirrors your motion.
Scoring basics
- Collect energy orbs to increase your length and multiplier.
- The longer you survive, the faster the arena fills—stay nimble to maximize combos.
- Plan daring shortcuts by wrapping around the sphere; Sphereless mode rewards aerial awareness.
Pro tips
- Use gentle steering inputs to avoid over-correcting around tight turns.
- Plan your route early—the next pellet is sometimes closer around the back of the sphere.
- Leave an escape corridor; a crowded tail is the number one run killer.

- Rack up achievements—from your first score milestone to 100 runs in every mode.

Do I need to create an account to play or save my progress?
Nope—no account needed! Snake Sphere uses Game Center to keep track of your achievements and leaderboard glory, so you can just pick up and play.
What’s the difference between the game modes?
Normal mode keeps you coiled around a planet, Obscured mode hides the far half of the sphere so your own tail can ambush you, and Sphereless mode sends you soaring through a disorienting cloudscape for an extra challenge. Every mode keeps its own leaderboard, so there's always another crown to chase.
How much does Snake Sphere cost?
Snake Sphere is free to play, supported by the occasional ad. Prefer zero interruptions? You can remove ads with a one-time purchase—and grab coin packs to unlock custom snake skins while you're at it.
